Excellent

Jan 29, 2012 by Anna Thompson

We stayed 4 nights here in January 2012. We really liked it, the warmth extended to the wonderful staff, who could not have been better. Has everything you need and more. We will be going back and we've alreday told lots of our friends about it. Perfect for sightseeing about Krakov, easy to get to. Comfortable and clean plus no noise!!!

I liked it very much; clean, cosy and very friendly staff. Very nearby the city centre and also possibility to arrive late during nighttime. Anyway, very good hostel in Krakow!!!

Liked it very much. I spent 4 nights in this hostel, for the New Year's Eve. Clean, warm and cosy. I enjoyed that they have year plugs..funny and useful thing:)

Fantastic hostel! Great location with easy walking distance to old town and other sights and friendly, helpful staff. Krakow Kit was awesome and helpful explaining where to go and how to get there. Would definitely recommend.

not so happy with it

Well, we weren\'t looking for new friendships and having fun, but for a place where one can use the bathroom and relax sleeping well all night long. The hostel has many advantages: great location, no street noise at all, very, very nice staff, an internet-connected computer for the guests, comfortable kitchen with washing mashine (very precious thing for long-time travellers, I suppose), lots of kitchen equipment and some food/milk/tea/coffee you can have as a \"breakfast\" in every moment of the day/night. I appreciate also the free bikes and the maps (actually, though I love biking in the city, we didn\'t feel like using it that day).
At the same time there were too many annoying things. For example:
--- in every other hostel I\'ve been to, if there are few guests in multi-person bedrooms and some rooms would be left empty, the guests who don\'t know each other don\'t have to flock together in one room. Here it was not the case - hence quite a big discomfort of bad and too hot air in our bedroom during the night. We couldn\'t open the window, as we usually do, because other guests didn\'t want to - but it seems the next door room was completely empty this night.
--- the 8-bed rooms are extremely simple: the only place where you can put your personal things is a locker under the bed, directly on the floor - which is like a normal floor, not clean enough to put your fresh clothes on it, so you have to keep everything in your backpack.
--- when both showers are used in the same time, the water pressure is insufficient.

This hostel was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Comfy, relaxed and a great place to just chill and rest when you need to recharge. Awesome employees with great suggestions of things to do off the beaten path. Travelers Inn is definitely part of the recipe for a successful trip to Krakow. Thanks to all the staff for making my stay more comfortable and pleasant.

The best!
