Getting to Travellers Inn Hostel Krakow Sarego 24

From the Main Train and Bus Station in Krakow

1. Take tram No.13 and get off at second stop called “Starowiślna”. Cross the street to your right. Follow Dietla St. The first turn on the right is Józefa Sarego St. The hostel is here at No. 24.
* to get to the city from the bus station walk through adjacent train station to square in front of it.

2. If you’re not weighed down by a gigantic backpack, why not walk here (max. 15 min. walk)? It is a nice stroll and will give you a good first look at the city.
3. Walk through the pedestrian subway towards Westerplatte St. Take the exit on your left hand side. Follow Westerplatte St. to the end and continue along Sw. Gertrudy St. Turn left (just behind the Deutche Bank) onto Józefa Sarego St. and walk on to No.24.

4. If the weather is nice, it might be a more pleasant to walk along Westerplatte and Sw. Gertrudy Street. The Path goes via Planty (the park stretching around the Main Square area). If walking this way, make sure you don’t miss Sarego Street. You’ll know you’ve reached it when you see the Deutche Bank which is just to the left of the turn onto Sarego.

From the airport Krakow Balice

Train
Take train from the Airport and get off at the Main Railway Station. Follow the instructions given above
The train leaves every 30 min, costs 8 PLN. The whole journey takes 15 min. The train stop is about 200m form main terminal.

Bus
Take bus No. 292 and get off next to the lower platform of the Main Bus Station (Dworzec Główny Wschód). Follow the instructions given above
The journey takes 45 min., one way ticket (bilet normalny) costs 2,50 PLN.

Taxi
Taking a taxi to the hostel from the airport costs about 70 PLN.

From the Main Train and Bus Station.

1. Take tram no. 2. If you go by tram you should get of on 3rd. In both cases the stop is called “Filharmonia”. Follow Floriana Straszewskiego street (just proceed straight) and take the second turn (if you came by tram) or the first (if by bus) to the right. It is Plac na Groblach, and we’re here at No.8

Check the times on the schedule of tram no.2 from the train/bus station.

If you have some time to spare (about 20-30 min.), the weather is nice and you’re not weighed down by a gigantic backpack, why not walk here It is a nice stroll and will give you a good first look at the city.

Walk through the pedestrian subway towards the city center. Take the exit straight ahead, and after reaching the top of a hill, continue walking to the left. The path goes via Planty (the park stretching around the Main Square area). After a while you’ll see Dominikańska street (with tram tracks) crossing the Planty. Take it to the right. Follow Dominikańska and continue as it turns into Franciszkańska until it crosses Straszewskiego street. Turn left onto Straszewskiego. The First turn on the right is Plac na Groblach. You’ll find our hostel here at No.8
